Upon noticing a patch of missing shingles from the roof of my A-frame house, I immediately contacted the good folks at J&B West Roofing and Construction. Tommy Patterson and his work partner made it over to my house in the Crown Point area several weeks later to make the repair. From a visual perspective, the replacement shingles they used are a very close match to the rest of the roof shingles. Tommy also corrected any other loose shingles he discovered in the vicinity of repair area of the roof. They also made a quick fix on a downspout bracket where the screws to the bracket had pulled out of the siding trim. Overall, I was very pleased with the repair job Tommy and his partner did in making necessary repairs to my house. Thank You!

JB west installed shingles on our new house. Three years later we noticed a small leak that stained our bedroom ceiling. I contacted them and spoke with Caprice about my concerns. Caprice was very helpful and nice. She said they would stand by the quality of their work and sent a repair man to our house. The gentleman was very kind and found the issue. A nail went through the shingle creating a small hole in the roof. Once the outside repair was completed, Caprice coordinated with me to repair our bedroom ceiling. I met with repairman Marvin (very nice man with 35 years of experience) who also saw some small water damage I did not notice. Marvin repaired everything and it looks great! I was impressed how JB West stood by their work and fix the problem without hesitation free of charge. I will definitely hire them again for any future work needed on my house.

Travis was at the house early and repaired the fascia that was ripped off by the wind in short order. The job may be “small”, but we appreciate JB West helping us out. Thank you.

The crew did an excellent job installing five skylights and a new roof it looks great I was very happy with the work, clean up was perfect. I can easily recommend them they are probably one of the best contractors that I’ve had the opportunity to work with.

My experience with JB West during the roofing job itself was very good, the crews very polite and hard working and the job completed in one day. The problem came when payment for the job was due. Somehow it went from an Insurance job to homeowner or retail job. My insurance had already paid over $5,000 to start the job, just waiting for the final bill and pictures of the completed job to release the last payment. Somehow no pictures of the finished job were taken, therefore no final insurance payment. Then I started getting email bills saying I owed more than I would once the insurance paid their final payment. And their account payable department wanted the money now. I’m taking a loan for my part, but knew the amount they were asking for was before the last insurance money. I was getting nowhere talking with that department, so reached out to Vance Mabry, the sales representative who came out when I called for an estimate. It took one day for him to clear up the misunderstanding between insurance and retail job. Then Brennan Morehead from Auto Owners, my insurance, talked to his management explaining the problem with the pictures, and they agreed to just release the last amount without completed job pictures, bringing my part to pay agreeing with my figures. So thank you to Vance Mabry and Brennan Morehead for going beyond the normal job.
